Hello! I’m Paco!

I am a 6 ½ year old, tan, 8 pounds neutered male.

I am updated on all of my shots and have been micro chipped.

I love to take naps, cuddle up next to you, and sit on your lap.

I have a tendency to whine, but I am learning that I can’t always have my own way.

I have never been around other animals until I started living with my foster parents. I like to laze around for the most part, and don’t really know how to play with other dogs. But I don’t mind if they want to hang out with me quietly.

I am doing very well on becoming house trained, and haven’t had any accidents in my foster home. I get taken outside every two hours or so for a short walk. My foster parents say I am a very smart boy and a quick learner.

I can get nervous if I’m frightened or nervous and I will show my teeth as a warning – but I will stop if corrected right away.

I’d really love to find my forever home as an only pet or with an older, calm dog.

I hope my new parents will have a lot of time for me, as I have a lot of love and affection to give in return.

Update

Hi, I am doing great! I am living with a 10 years old greyhound and a young chi male. I am also living with an older kitty, and doing great!

My foster mom says I am a 'lap dog'. I love to cuddle with you, and give you 'tons of kisses!' I am looking for my 'person' and I am learning to get along with the 'pack' at my foster home.
I love to go for rides if you like to take me along on errands. I just want to be with my 'person!'

I have done well with children 6+. I am living with my foster mom and her teenage daughter, and doing great!
I am learning to love new people I meet, and have learned that I am a good boy!
I am house trained, neutered, and up to date on all my shots. I am ready for my new home!

This is Dylan,

he is a 1 year old 5 pounds chi that was found as a stray.

Dylan walks well on the leash and is house & crate trained.

He can be reserved with new people but once he gets to know you, he is a sweet and fun little dog.

Dylan is the best Chi, happy and so sweet and wants to sit on your lap for love.

Dylan does have spunk and would do great in an active household with a fenced in yard.

He tends to be very vocal and will not be placed in an apartment or with larger dogs..

He can be dominant from time to time with his furry friends so he will need a Chi savy owner that can remind him from time to time that he is not the boss….

September 25, 2011-update

Kisses was with her adopted mommy for the past few months, and loved her mommy, but the resident dog did not care for her. Sadly, there were too many doggie fights between the 2 ladies, and it was felt it would be best for her to come back to rescue.

She was VERY loved in her home, and loves attention. She would do well in a home with a passive dog, and or as the only dog. She really likes to have her person/people around her, and loves to snuggle and go for walks. Here's her info from previous foster home:

Poncho:

Poncho takes some time to warm up to new people but after a while is
friendly.

He loves to play with his toys as people throw them for him. He
will let people, even small children and older, take his toys and he loves
it if they throw them for him to fetch.

He is skittish about new noises and about letting people, other than his family, pat him.

When he is at home with his family he is a truly loving lap dog.

He will lean against his owner in a loving way when held, and gives an enthusiastic greeting at the door when his owner returns from being out.

Poncho's favorite things are eating, playing, taking walks, and sitting with
his family.

He is house trained, walks very nicely on a leash, and will sit when told
to.

Poncho will sleep in his own bed all night or in bed with his owner if

Buddy update!

I hardly need to introduce myself, do I? I've been up here so long that everyone should know me by now.

I've turned into such a perfect gentlemen that my foster Mom would love to keep me and she can't understand why no one has come along sooner..

I'm so cute that she loves that snaggle tooth and would keep me; if she were looking for a new member of the family and would adopt me in a heartbeat!

I get along with all my foster siblings, love to play with my chi buddies and some larger in size as you can see from my updated picture - sssshhh don't tell him that he is not a chi!

I'm still unsure of young children so would do great in an adult only home..
